Everything about this book is beautiful and it’s clear that a lot of attention to detail has gone into the production of it. With the concept of “Make, Thrift, Mend” as the theme of this book, Katrina shows how to lovingly repair clothing while gently encouraging us to reduce our carbon footprint by caring about the things we already own. Filled with well photographed and clear images, there are plenty of examples of simple hand stitching techniques that almost anyone could learn. This book also includes a few easy upcycling projects and lots of inspiration. Lots of tips for mending pants, specifically jeans through the use of decorative embroidery.
