Hourly Studio Rental
Brightly lit dance studio in Hamilton, available for hourly rentals. Ideal for small dance rehearsals & classes, meetings, and more. For movement based activities this space fits on average 8-10 people comfortably, 10-30 seated (depending on setup configuration).
- Blutooth speaker with aux cord is available for you to plug into your phone or CD player.
- Change rooms not available, but clean comfortable, private washrooms are located on the same floor.
- Your booking includes use of water cooler, tea kettle with herbal teas, drip coffee maker, and guest wifi.
- Parking is available in the lot behind the building on a first come, first serve basis. Studio is located near the #1 eastbound transit line.
Creative Heart Space is located in the back entrance of the Hamilton Dream Centre on the second floor. Please use parking lot address 104 Aikman Avenue to find us. We are in suite 208 at the top of the stairs on the second floor. This venue is not currently wheelchair accessible.
Studio is typically available between 8am to 11pm most days of the week; some exceptions may apply. See our calendar for availability. We will do our best to accommodate your preferred time slots. (See calendar here, bottom of page https://www.creativeheartspace.ca/#/).

Studio Space $20/hour plus tax
Studio with setup (table & chairs) $25/hours plus tax
Deposits & Payment Policies:
We require a 50% deposit at time of booking to reserve your time slot and to schedule staff. Balance of payment must be received in full prior to your booking start time. Payments can be made via our website, e-transfer or Paypal to firstname.lastname@example.org, or cash at the studio. We do not accept cheques or money orders at this time. We can also send an email invoice if you wish to do that option instead of using our online checkout. Deposits and fees are non refundable and may be issued via studio use credit only.
Please ensure to budget time for any setup and cleanup you may require. Bookings must start and end on time. For bookings that go over 5 minutes past your booking time you may be charged at the half hour rate of $10.
We require 24 hours written notice (via email) of any cancellations. You will receive a studio booking credit for use at a future date. No refunds issued. Less than 24 hours notice may incur a $10 cancellation fee deducted from your credit.
- Arrive and depart on time for booking so as not to interrupt or delay other bookings.
- Have all participants involved in classes/workshops/rehearsals/activities sign a liability release form prior to start time.
- Use reasonable care to prevent damage and/or injury of property and/or participants involved in any activities taking place within the unit.
- Protect our floors; do not wear stiletto heels or muddy/wet shoes or boots in the studio.
- Not setup or take down chairs and tables (for safety reasons).
- Be respectful of other tenants in the building; no loitering or loud noises/loud talking in hallways or building entrances.
- Not to leave outside back door propped open other than when loading in or out.
- Ensure washroom keys have been returned to the front desk at the end of your session. (Lost key charge is $5.00)
- No smoking within the unit, hallways, washroom facilities, and any other areas within the building.
- No use of alcohol within the unit, hallways, washroom facilities, and any other areas within the building.
- No affixing materials/posters/decorations to the walls, ceilings, windows, or mirrors (unless prior written permission has been given).
- No use of flames, harsh chemicals, solvents, or any products with a strong odour.
- No storing or leaving personal items, equipment, or garbage outside of the unit.
- No minors in attendance without an authorized parent or guardian.
